THE LIT BOOK CLUB
Our new book club will meet on the second Wednesday of each month at 7pm.  All are welcome!  Each month we’ll read and discuss a work of fiction or nonfiction – book club members will take turns choosing a title.  Snacks will be provided.  Please call or email to register.

OUTDOOR STORYTIME
Fridays, 10am – Begins 9/10
Listen to stories, sing songs, and more at our in-person, outdoor storytimes! Storytimes will be held on Friday mornings at 10am at the library. We will follow requirements for outdoor gatherings. Registration is required by contacting the library. This program is weather dependent. Cancellations due to inclement weather will be announced on our Facebook page and on our website no later than 8am on Friday morning.

VIRTUAL PUMPKIN STORYTIME
Saturday, October 16th, 10:30am

Listen to stories, sing songs, and more at our special pumpkin-themed Saturday morning storytime! Pick up a craft kit to follow along with our craft after storytime. Stories are selected for ages 2-6, but all are welcome.

PUMPKIN DECORATING CONTEST
Saturday, October 16th-Saturday, October 30th
Decorate your own pumpkin to look like a book character- do not carve, but be creative and use paint and other craft items and props.  Drop off on Saturday, October 16th. Winner will be announced on October 30th – and win a gift card!

HORROR MOVIE TRIVIA
Friday, October 22nd, 7pm
Test your knowledge of spooky horror movies on Facebook Live!

BASKET RAFFLE
October 25th-November 13th
Your purchase of raffle tickets for a chance to win themed baskets of prizes or stand alone items helps support the Davisville FreeLibrary! All proceeds from ticket sales benefit the library! Raffle items will be on display at the library as well as posted on our website and social media. Drop by or contact us by phone (401-884-5524) or email to purchase tickets. Tickets are $5/ticket or $20/5 tickets.

BOOK & CRAFT SALE (TAG SALE, TOO!)
Saturday, November 13th, 9am-1pm
Drop by and do some shopping at our book and craft sale!  We will have a tag sale, as well.  Raffle tickets will be available for purchase for the drawing happening that afternoon. 

FAMILY CRAFT NIGHT: THANKFUL JAR
Wednesday, November 3rd, 6pm
Join us for an evening of gratitude.  Create and decorate a thankful jar with your family.  All materials will be supplied.  Register with the library by phone, messenger, or email to reserve your spot, as space is limited.

Storytime will be feature songs, books, sensory activities, and/or a craft.  Storytime is designed for ages 1-6, but children of all ages and abilities are welcome at any session! No registration necessary.

COZY CRAFTS  ON HOLD
Mondays, 1-2pm
Drop in to craft with librarians and neighbors.  Get started on a new project or bring one you’re working on. Beginner crocheting and knitting instruction available.  No registration necessary.

TECH NIGHT@DFL  ON HOLD
Wednesdays from 3pm-7pm
We’ll answer your tech help questions, such as:
How do I set up an email account?
How do I download free library books to my e-reader or tablet using E-Zone?
How do I download free audiobooks to my phone?
